Introducing the new Raspberry board, the 8GB Pi 5. With a new chiplet and new developments in its form factor, this new product promises 2 to 3x better user experience compared to the previous version, always maintaining the size of a card!
And 4 years after the launch of Pi 4, the Raspberry brand presents us with the 5th version of the most famous mini computer in the world of Makers. This has many new upgrades, which could influence the purchase, even for those who have already purchased version 4, all of which are quite notable when using the card on a daily basis.
The brand's trend, throughout the evolution of Pi boards, has been the individualization/separation of functions from the main chipset. This can be seen, for example, in the Pi 3, when compared now with this new version: in the latter, you can see 3 distinct chips, each with specific functions, working together. We highlight here the "main" ones, the Broadcom BCM2712, working with a 2.4GHz clock (vs 1.8GHz on the Pi 4) and with a 16GHz architecture. nanometers (vs 28 nanometers of the Pi 4) and with a new GPU, the VideoCore VII. The result? An experience 2 to 3 times faster, both in terms of processing and graphics!
Apparently identical to previous versions, always maintaining the small form factor similar to that of a credit card, we can notice, at a closer glance, the absence of the 3.5mm jack port, 2 connectors for the 4-line MIPI interface, 1 connector for PCIe 2.0, 1 connector for UART, for RTC, for the fan and for PWM control and, perhaps the most requested by fans of the brand, an on/off button on the side.
With regard to the remaining peripherals, the brand maintained the material of the successor cards: we continue with 40 I/O pins, USB-C port, 2 HDMI video outputs, 1 RJ45 Ethernet connector, 2 USB 3.0 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports, thus completing our board.

The Raspberry Pi Zero 2W is the latest product in the most affordable range of single-board computers powered by Raspberry Pi. This successor to the revolutionary Raspberry Pi Zero W, has a structure compatible with previous models of the Zero family and incorporates an Arm Cortex-AS3 Quad-Core 64-bit CPU with a clock speed of 1GHz.
Imagine a Official Raspberry Pi Keyboard but a little thicker and now imagine a Raspberry Pi 4 inside with the bindings redirected to the back of the keyboard. The Raspberry Pi made this a reality with the Raspberry Pi 400.
Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is the latest addition to the popular Raspberry Pi range of microcomputers. It offers innovative advances in processor speed, multimedia performance, memory and connectivity compared to the previous generation Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ while maintaining similar compatibility in power consumption. For the end user, the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B provides performance comparable to entry-level x86 PC systems.
