The Raspberry Pi Zero 2W is the latest product in the most affordable range of single-board computers powered by Raspberry Pi. This successor to the revolutionary Raspberry Pi Zero W, has a structure compatible with previous models of the Zero family and incorporates an Arm Cortex-AS3 Quad-Core 64-bit CPU with a clock speed of 1GHz.

At its heart is a System-in-Package (SiP) Raspberry Pi RP3A0, integrating a Broadcom BCM2710A1 'die' (the IC chip used in the Raspberry Pi 3) with 512MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM. This improved processor gives the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W 40% more performance in single-threaded applications and five times the performance in multi-threaded applications when compared to a Raspberry Pi Zero.

The Raspberry Pi Zero 2W features 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN and Bluetooth 4.2, as well as support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and modular compliance certification. The board is powered via a MicroUSB plug, has a MicroSD card slot, a CSI-2 camera connector, a USB On-The-Go (OTG) and through-holes for soldering a HAT-compatible 40-pin GPIO header .

The video output is through a mini HDMI port, but it is also possible to use the composite video output through the test points provided for soldering. Raspberry Pi Zero 2W has a structure compatible with previous models of the Zero family and fits inside most existing cases for Raspberry Pi Zero.
