When motion is detected in the sensing field of the sensor, it switches on the LED bulbs or projectors that are connected to its output. In addition, it can be used to control various luminaires, provided that their technical characteristics are respected. The passive (or pyroelectric) infrared sensor detects movement by measuring changes in the infrared (heat) level emitted by nearby bodies.
The sensor has a timing regulator, which allows you to adjust the length of time the LED lamps or lamps stay on as soon as the movement is detected. The device also has a photoelectric sensor that allows adjusting the level of brightness from which the sensor is actuated. In this way it is possible to choose, for example, that the sensor only illuminates the light when detecting the presence of a body in its radius of action at night.
