The Grove –Encoder is a module of the Grove series and has a standard Grove interface. The Rotary Encoders are similar to Potentiometers, however, as they have no physical limits, they can run indefinitely. However, the similarity to a potentiometer is only physical, instead of having a variable resistance, in this type of Encoder we have an impulse output with 20 impulses per turn.
