As an option, you can add a distance sensor module to the ultrasound (range finder). The sensor can be soldered to the module or connected via a plug. No welding is required for both versions. The stacking version makes it easy to connect a micro USB cable to Micro:bit, but the welded version is more robust. You can consider using a USB cable at right angles with this option or with the AngleBit adapter.
The micro:bit is a small computer that allows you to be creative with digital technology. You can program, customize and control your micro:bit from anywhere! You can even use your micro:bit in all kinds of unique creations, from robots to musical instruments and more.
Half the size of a credit card, you'll be amazed at how much hardware each card has, including 25 red LEDs that can display messages. There are two programmable buttons that can be used to control games or stop and skip songs in a playlist. The micro:bit can even detect motion and tell you which direction it is going. It also uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to interact with other devices and the Internet.
Features:
• Features two micro-metallic gear motors, both fully controllable in the program, for both speed (0 to 100%) and direction (forward or backward);
• Wheels with rubber tires for maximum grip;
• Small front wheel in very soft nylon;
• Contains 12 mini NeoPixels in 2 sets of 6 along the arms, on each side;
• You can select any color with any pixel and produce some amazing lighting effects when Bit:Bot moves;
• It has 2 digital lines following the sensors;
• You can code your line sequence robots and run a race to see which code produces the best lap time;
• Contains 2 analog light sensors (front left and right) so your Bit:Bot can be programmed by following a light source or hiding in the darkest place;
• Has a bell to make sounds when needed;
• It is powered by a built-in 3xAA battery/battery holder with ON/OFF switch and blue LED indicator;
• You can easily connect your Micro: Bit using the integrated connector;
• Has an extension port for additional NeoPixels, such as McRoboFace;
• Features front expansion connections for additional sensors.
Note: The Micro:Bit and batteries are not included.
However, you may additionally purchase from ElectroFun:
• Micro:Bit;
• Batteries.
Includes:
• 1x Robot Car Kit Bit:Bot for Micro:Bit.
Which wheels should your robot car use? How about the Wheel of Mecanum! The Mecanum Wheel is an omnidirectional wheel design for a land vehicle to move in any direction, such as going straight, obliquely, horizontally, line S and turning at any angle with zero radius.
Hexagonal Metal Bolt 15mm M3 Female-Female ideal for mounting all kinds of printed circuit boards, sensors, mechanical parts.
