This Replacement Ball 3pi Robot with 1/2″ Plastic Ball can be used as a 3pi Robot Spare Part or as a General Purpose Ball. When mounted through a Hole in a Chassis using our 32 × 7mm Metal Gearmotors and Wheels, as in the 3pi, this Ball is the Right Height to keep the Chassis Level.

Replacing the 3pi Sphere
To replace the Ball on your 3pi, you will need to unscrew the rear battery holder (remove the LCD and remove the batteries to gain access to the screw) and gently fold the bracket enough to move the existing ball away and place the new one. The Battery Holder is Soldered to the 3pi PCI Chassis on one side so that you cannot completely remove the Battery Holder. Be careful not to lose the plastic spacer under the bracket.
Note: This Ball has no Mounting Holes and does not include Hardware or Spacers.
