The connector is keyed so that power cannot be reversed, and a latch secures the connection so that it will not become disconnected. You can use a crimping tool to attach these connectors to your own 14- to 20-AWG wires. This pack contains enough housings and crimp pins including two spare pins for 3 female connectors.

The crimp pins are designed for 14- to 20-AWG wires, and we sell a crimping tool that works well with them. As an alternative, we sell a pre-crimped version of this connector with 10 cm leads.
