This Disk Load Cell (sometimes called the Strain Gauge) can translate up to 200kg of Pressure(Force) into a Electrical Signal. Each Load Cell is capable of measuring the electrical resistance that changes in response and proportional to the voltage (eg pressure or force) applied to the disk. With this gauge, you'll be able to tell how heavy an object is, if an object's weight changes over time, or if you simply need to feel the presence of an object by measuring the tension or load applied to a surface.

The Disk Load Cell are slightly easier to assemble than the bar-style load cells, making them more simple to implement in a project.

Each Load Cell is made of an alloy steel and is capable of reading a capacity of 200kg. These Load Cell have four strain gauges that are connected in a wheatstone bridge formation. The wiring color code is as follows: red = E+, green = O+, black = E- and white = O-. In addition, these load cells offer an IP66 protection rating.
